Hi, I’m Catherine, the creative voice behind Family Uncharted. Along for the ride are my Irish born husband Joe, and our kiddos PJ and Fiadh.

We love to travel, both near and far, and hopefully this blog can be information for you to take your kids anywhere that your dreams can take you.

I got tired people saying that family travel was too hard and that traveling with small children was pointless. Family travel has its own challenges, sure; however, I don’t ever shy away from a challenge.

We travel alot to Ireland, around Chicago, and to National Parks. These are our wheelhouse, but we have travelled to many other cities and countries as well.
